Compass Financial Advisors, LLC is a comprehensive, fee only financial planning firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ. Our goal is to help you piece together all the pieces of your financial picture, then help you chart the course of action to meet your goals, all the while coaching you through the process. We address all areas - from cash flow, tax and spending plans that ground you in the here and now, to investment and retirement strategies that will help you live the way you want to in the future, as well as insurance and estate planning to protect what you have against life's uncertainties.
Julie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Finance. Afterward, she had a very successful career in corporate finance at the General Electric Company, beginning with the completion of their Financial Management Program before moving on to be part of the company's prestigious Corporate Audit Staff. Later, she specialized in Financial Planning and Analysis for GE's Water and Aviation divisions.
After ten rewarding years in corporate finance, Julie decided to pursue a career as an independent personal financial planner, using her financial and business acumen to help individuals reach their financial goals.
Julie is a Chartered Financial Consultant, Registered Investment Advisor in the State of New Jersey, and has passed the Certified Financial Planner® exam . She is currently a candidate for CFP® certification. Julie completed the Certified Financial Planner® curriculum at the American College.
Julie is a member of NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Julie resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time in Maine with her family, weekends in the Poconos, traveling, reading, and cooking.
